Students tried releasing anxiety using bubble wands, kinetic sand, essential oils, body markers, squishies, nature videos, super-calming music, tracing their toes, and putting their anxious thoughts through a shredder!
“Writing It Out: The Use of Journaling as an Adjunct to Therapy” presented for professionals in the Lake County Behavioral Health Alliance (LCBHA), Libertyville, IL. Participants learned the evidence-based benefits of journaling and specific techniques and applications for using journaling with clients both individually and in groups.
