The Instant Help Guided Journals for Teens are a new and unique series of books designed specifically to help teens address a variety of emotional issues in a fun, interactive, and effective way. While the book format is creative and engaging, the journaling prompts within are all evidence-based in theories of cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness based therapies, experiential therapies, and neuroscience.
The first book in the series, “Put Your Worries Here,” provides 100 prompts to help teens release and reduce anxiety in the moment. The second book, “Put Your Feelings Here,” will follow the same format but address emotional regulation in general. Additional volumes in the series will tackle anger management, self-esteem, social anxiety, and more.
This series is also designed with the hope that its teen-friendly, innovative format will reduce the stigma around mental health issues and thereby get more help to more teens.
